Digital Communications Advisor at Kongsberg Automotive

Coming from a foreign country and having experience from across sectors and countries in Marketing and Communications, isn’t really enough to catch eyeballs in a new market, sometimes.

I moved to Oslo early this year and came across Hammer & Hanborg in May 2021. The team here is very active with their social media channels and I connected with Celina Bålerud and Ingrid Melbye Olsen through LinkedIn for an opportunity at Kongsberg Automotive in July 2021.

It was amazing how things moved - fast and smooth throughout my interview to my onboarding soon after. I was hired as a Digital Communications Advisor at Kongsberg Automotive in July 2021.

The company is going through a transformation, and it has been very exciting to be a part of small and talented team to shape their overall communication strategy. I am in charge of their internal communications, editor in chief of the company intranet, website and jointly work on their social media strategy. I am also co-leading a new digital project that will positively impact company-wide communication in the future.

I report to the Director of Communications - Therese Sjöborg Skrudal, at Kongsberg Automotive and it has been a great relationship with her since day one. She is an excellent manager with a vision to create an impact through corporate communications both for internal and external stakeholders.

The flexibility and freedom to make decisions has given me the best platform to showcase my skills and deliver on a quick turnaround towards high-priority assignments.
