– I’m originally from the Czech Republic and moved to Norway in 2013. My background is in learning and organizational development, and I’ve always been passionate about helping people and teams grow. Over the years I’ve worked on leadership development, employee engagement and initiatives that support inclusive cultures.
My assignment at BW Offshore
– For the past months I’ve been on assignment with BW Offshore, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’ve worked on everything from rolling out new company values to creating a leadership framework and developing improvement programs for colleagues offshore. The work is diverse and I get to collaborate with teams across several countries, which means every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities.
– What I appreciate most at BW Offshore is the people. Everyone is approachable, supportive and committed to delivering results. There is a strong sense of teamwork and a clear focus on safety and sustainability, which makes the environment both professional and inspiring. The offshore energy industry itself is also fascinating, especially as it pushes toward cleaner and smarter solutions.
How I connected with Hammer & Hanborg and what my day looks like
– My connection with Hammer & Hanborg actually started years ago when I attended one of their breakfast seminars on diversity, equity and inclusion. When I later saw a job opening with them, it felt like the perfect match. They have been fantastic to work with: professional, transparent and very supportive throughout the entire process. Ingrid took the time to understand my goals and guided me through every step before starting at BW Offshore.
– A typical day for me now is a mix of strategic planning and hands-on HR work. I support managers with culture and talent development initiatives and focus on projects that enhance employee engagement. The consultant perspective adds an extra layer of motivation, as I aim to create impact quickly and add value from day one.
Consulting, life outside work and what’s next
– Outside of work I love being outdoors, exploring new places and staying active. I also enjoy reading and personal development.
– Would I recommend a consultancy assignment through Hammer & Hanborg? Absolutely. If you enjoy variety, meaningful work and supportive partners, they are a great choice. My advice to anyone considering consulting is to know your strengths, stay adaptable and choose assignments that align with your values. It makes all the difference.
– Right now I’m looking forward to spending quality time with family over Christmas and then coming back energized to roll out a new development initiative that will help colleagues lead confidently and navigate change.
